February 2021

February is among us and, I don’t know about all of you, but my list of “stuff to do” is most certainly growing! Getting the kids sorted for the new school year, clearing out the garage, and making good on that New Year’s Resolution to exercise more! But the definite highlight for January was not work, work, work but a trip to the South Island and an amazing stay at the Rainforest Retreat near Franz Josef Glacier. If you’re keen to “support local” a bit further afar, this is the bomb with its unique elevated rooms up in the trees at the base of the Southern Alps!

On that note, how lucky are we to live in beautiful New Zealand? With that in mind, let me help you discover some beautiful little markets we have locally around the heart of Auckland…

  • Smales Farm market is a lovely way to spend a Sunday. Grab a coffee and stroll by the stone fruit and other seasonal deliciousness on offer. 74 Taharoto Rd, Smale’s Farm, Takapuna – Second Sunday of every month 9am – 2pm

  • Coastville markets with fantastic foods and home-made wares. Make it, bake it, create it. 4 Mahoenui Valley Road, Coatesville, Auckland – First Sunday of every month 10am-2pm

  • French Market offering a variety of fresh produce from local growers & producers if you want to do some morning fresh groceries. 69 Saint Georges Bay Road, Parnell, Auckland 1052 – 9am – 1:30pm every Saturday & Sunday

And of course, don’t hesitate to contact us if you need any help with regular or one-off cleaning, housekeeping, shopping, and handy Add-On Services for all sorts of maintenance tasks. Just you ask and you will receive!
