March 2021

Hi, Lovely People!
From our bubbles to your bubbles…

Firstly, I hope you and your whanau are doing well–we have got through this before and we can do it again!

Because we aren’t able to provide in-home cleaning services in Level 3, we thought in the meantime we could share some ideas to keep you entertained:

  • Get cozy and read a book–if you’re feeling adventurous, try Wattpad – Where stories live

  • Ever wanted to trace your genealogy and family tree?! You’ll find heaps of resources online at Auckland Libraries: Research your family history

  • Take all those dusty board games out of the cupboard and have a game night with your bubble. Monopoly is always a big win for my family but another favourite is Qwirkle. It looks simple but after several feverish lockdown rounds, you realise the more strategy you apply, the more sneakily you can win!

  • Watch a movie – a recent favourite is Ready Player One, or anything by David Attenborough, especially his 2020 “witness statement,” A Life on Our Planet.

  • Try making a new recipe. We have one teenager who’s gone pescatarian and we’ve been trying to eat no meat for at least 2 dinners a night…I tell you these patties are a winner in our household.

  • Get out and go for a walk. Take in some fresh air and support local and get yourself a hot cuppa, some sushi, or art supplies from the door of the $2 shop!

When we return to Level 2, we’ll be in touch for your regular MTDL cleaning, housekeeping, maintenance services, and shopping.

Stay safe –
Pam
